It’s Worse Than I Thought

Please Paizo,  Move up the release date of Hell’s Rebels.  Gareth Pugh needs rescuing.

You may remember my theory that based on his Spring 2015 collection, the Hell’s Rebels AP was going to center around rescuing Gareth Pugh from the Chelaxians.

Well, he just released his Fall 2015 collection, and it looks like he’s still trapped in Cheliax, working for House Thrune.

He has shown in the past that he can dress a wider variety of Golarian inhabitants.

He can dress the Kellid and The Technic League

And Enora and Seltyiel.

He must be returned to wider Golarion!

Hell’s Rebels — My Version

At Gencon, Hell’s Rebels was announced as the late year 2015 adventure path.  The Unofficial Rampant Speculation thread is over here. Blah blah blah, Cheliax rebellion, blah blah blah, Kintargo blah blah blah, Masked Ball. *gasp*  Sadly, it doesn’t seem like the the extra-special-bonus-material in issue 100 will be masked ball paper dolls. Something about Aroden instead.  Whatever.

Since my Iron Gods plot prediction of “The Blonde who Fell to Earth” was so spot on,* I’m going to try again.  Here is my Hell’s Rebels Plot Prediction:

The heroic adventuring party has been hired by some-nameless-NPC, to rescue Fashion Designer to the Stars,** Gareth Pugh from the clutches of House Thrune.  Judging from his 2015 Spring/Summer collection, he has been working with them to produce a line of stylish, yet comfortable Chelaxian garb.

This collection has something for everyone in Cheliax, whether you’re a Hellknight on your day off, a court jester, a cultist, an imprisoned heretic, a noble’s herald, or a guest at the masked ball.

* It was not.  Not even a little bit.

** By ‘Stars’ I of course mean, Seltyiel.

New Blog Feature

I’m adding a new topic called “What I Would Wear if I was the Evil Queen (or Empyreal Lord) of X”

I love the runway shows that are on the more ridiculous side and less practical.  Every now and then, I’ll see a piece in a show that makes me think, “When I Become Evil Queen of the Universe, that’s what I’ll wear”  (Assuming that my ascension to Evil Queendom also includes a 6-foot skeleton and single digit BMI.)

First Region: Cheliax. (Yes, I realize the job is taken)

Thom Brown

Georges Hobeika

I couldn’t choose just one. Luckily being Evil Queen of Cheliax means you don’t have to choose!

The black and white is from Thom Brown‘s Fall 2014 Ready to Wear collection. The red is from Georges Hobeika‘s Fall 2013 Couture Collection.

They each have one of Cheliax’s signature colours, red and black and look sufficiently strong and beautiful.
